Kensri School will soon have its annual festival ‘Kenfest 2007-08’, with this year’s culmination programmes scheduled to be held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on October 6. There will be a host of inter-school competitions beginning October 1 with the senior inter-school sports day at the school premises from 12 noon to 2 pm. This will be followed by the Teen night from 6 pm which will include music and dance.
On October 5 at 8:30 am, the school will host ‘Kenmun’, an inter-school mock UN session with ‘Commercial exploitation of harmful addictive drugs’ as the topic of discussion. This event invites students from class VIII to XI to participate.
On October 6, some of the competitions will include Moot ICJ from 8.30 am for students of class IX to XII; APT (Aptitude, Personality, Talent) from 9 am for students of Class VIII to X; ‘Class (R) - Community Leadership Awareness for Self and Society competition at 1 pm.
To wind up the fest, the last day will have a street play on ‘Safeguarding and conservation of environment’ that will be followed by the felicitation ceremony and a dance drama called ‘Navarasa’.
