Reacting to the announcement of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award, Dr Narayanaswamy Srinivasan of IISc, Bangalore called it a “tremendous encouragement” from the CSIR.

“The award is for the work my group and myself have been doing for the past few years at Molecular Biophysics Unit, IISc. We employ computational biology techniques to address questions on evolution of protein structures, functions and interactions and the molecular basis of cellular signal transduction,” Dr Srinivasan said.
