Quick Step launches Homage Oak
Quick Step, a global leader in laminates, with presence in 130 countries, has announced the launch and availability of Homage Oak, rare wood flooring with a typical intense reddish brown colour that adds charm to the interiors. This offers customers an alternative that looks just like Asian wood, but comes with easy care and durability of a laminate. Not to forget the 25-year warranty against wear. What’s more, Homage Oak is antibacterial and hygienic which makes it ideal for toddlers. 

On the occasion of the launch, Mr Sunil, country head, India, Unilin Flooring BVBA, Belgium, said, “With Homage Oak, Quick-Step is launching two ‘Fond-de-Wagon’ board designs. ‘Fond-de-Wagon’ refers to the wooden boards used on the underside of railway wagons. They had to be extremely durable against environmental influences and this meant they were very weathered. The increasing popularity of weathered and antique floors and their scarcity in the market has given this solid oak finish an exclusive character and a steep price tag. This was what gave Quick-Step the idea of bringing a quality alternative onto the market that’s premium yet affordable.”

SDL - Schuco agreement
