Transfer unlikely: Gowda JD (S) supremo H D Deve Gowda on Thursday suspended talks with the leaders of the coalition partner over power transfer and declared that the transfer of power is unlikely unless the saffron party set right issues that had dented the reputation of his son, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.
BJP not to react to Gowda's remarks Addressing a news conference on Thursday, BJP State President D V Sadananda Gowda said that it is not the time to talk about relationships. "The BJP will only concentrate on elections. We will discuss about these comments only after September 30," Mr Gowda added.
University registrar shifted Mysore University Registrar (Evaluation) A B Ibrahim has been transferred. The V-C had reportedly recommended the transfer of Ibrahim recently. Prasad had held Ibrahim responsible for leaking of many classified matters regarding the University affairs to the media and to general public.
