"The film will be presented in the 'In dialogue' section," film maker Santosh Ram told reporters. Written and Directed by Santosh Ram, the 19-minute long film has Damu, a 10-year old boy, as protagonist.
"Damu leaves his home to buy jaggery as told by his mother and on the way meets his friend Manya. The film dwells on their travails and the premise that greed harms," Ram said.
"Why dont we confess about our mistakes in front of those whom we have hurt? I think childhood is a phase where we accept our mistakes and my film is about that realisation," Ram, who has also written the story and screenplay of the film, said. Ram has assisted in short films, corporate films and his filmography includes Hindi short films -- 'The Fishing Net' (8 minutes), 'Little Angels' (4 minutes) and 'Anjaan' (18 minutes).
The film's cinematography is by Pravin Mokal, music by Shrirang Umrani and art direction is by Santosh Sankhad. Its cast includes Aswini Giri, Chinmay Patwardhan, Ajinkya Bhise and Kalian Gadgil.
