On the lines of Tamil Nadu's famous 'Amma Canteens,' Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today announced 'Namma Canteens'. Presenting his 12th budget, Siddaramaiah said that these canteens will be a boon for city dwellers as the rate will be affordable.
The canteen, which will be opened in all the 198 BBMP wards will give a sufficient food for the customers at an affordable price. Siddaramaiah said, " Tiffin for Rs 5 and meals for Rs 10 will be provided in 'Namma Canteens'."
