With a large number of nominations being filed on Wednesday, the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka, (CEO) was unable to provide all the information online.
In Hebbal, it is said, close to 28 candidates had filed their nominations on the last day. The returning officer for Hebbal said the uploading of the candidates’ affidavits would take not less than six hours, on account of the software accepting the affidavits in a chronological format.
Web pages with details of affidavits of BJP candidate from Padmanabhanagar R Ashoka and some candidates from BTM Layout could not be opened.
