A 28-year-old man was found murdered at an isolated spot in Vidyaranyapura on Friday morning.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Dayanand Joshi, a native of Nepal, staying in Domlur. He was working as a security guard in a private firm. Some unidentified assailants stabbed him in the chest, killing him on the spot, they said.
On Friday, a passerby noticed the body and informed the police, who identified Joshi using ID cards found in his pocket. They said CCTV footage recovered from a nearby shop showed some people dumping the body.
