Andhra Cricket Association scored a crushing ten-wicket victory over Haryana Cricket Association in the KSCA Dr (Capt) K Thimmappiah memorial cricket tournament match here on Monday.

Resuming their day on 119/6 at the BGS ground, Haryana needed an extraordinary effort to avoid defeat. But like they’ve been throughout the contest, they dished out another sloppy effort to be bowled out for a paltry 159 in 37.5 overs.

Andhra, similar to the first innings, had most of their bowlers chip in with the wickets. Shoib Mohd Khan (3/9) and B Ayyappa (3/45) grabbed three wickets apiece while I Karthik Raman (2/36) took two wickets.

Andhra just needed to score a token two runs for victory and they completed the job within two balls.

At the Chinnaswamy stadium, KSCA Colts had to settle for a draw against Dr DY Patil Cricket Academy but took home three points, thanks to the first innings lead.

Starting the day at four no loss -- a lead of 58 runs -- KSCA Colts had to go berserk from ball one if they desired to get full points. They could only manage to score 267/5 in 67 overs before deciding to call truce.
