The Fresh@ Indiranagar store of Heritage Foods promises to be a ‘one-stop shop for all essential home needs.’ The store, inaugurated recently at `Sai Sakthi’, 80 ft road, HAL 3rd Stage, Kodihalli has received an outstanding response from residents in its vicinity, according to Santhosh Unni, Head, Marketing and Operations, Heritage Foods–Retail division.

This branch as well as the Jayanagar and Basaveshwaranagar outlests were declared open in Bangalore on March 29. The USP of Fresh@ is its thrust on home delivery. The services offered presently are the purchase of products at the shop with the door delivery done by the staff and a dedicated call centre which takes orders and ensures the delivery is done. In the offing are an e-portal where one can log on and book orders and have them delivered at the doorstep. Another unique venture being planned is a tie-up with milk delivery agents of Heritage, who number around 3,500 in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. They have a reach of 5 and a half lakh households and the public can place their orders and receive the goods at their doorstep through them.

“It is a misnomer that products available at a cheap price lack quality,’’said Santhosh Unni adding that supplying quality products at competitive prices was given priority at these stores. Fresh@ works directly with farmers providing them advanced agronomy services and backing their efforts with a cold chain.

This ensures that products reach consumers with their freshness and vitality intact.

The special lighting in the fruits and vegetables section at the Indiranagar store provides a lovely ambience to shoppers here.

Apart from fresh fruits, vegetables and groceries, all home needs are obtained under one roof.

The shop is open from 7.30 am to 10 pm.
