The Bangalore School of Music presents a celebrity recital by Italian guitarist Alessio Nebiolo, in an evening of Spanish and South American Music. The concert will take place at 7 pm on April 14, 2007 at the St Joseph’s Boy’s High School Hall, (Museum Road, next to the State Bank of India Estate).

Born in Alessandria, Italy, on 12 December 1976, he began his musical education as a pupil of Giampiero Biello in Asti.
He continued his studies under Guido Margaria at the A Vivaldi Conservatory in Alessandria, where he earned a diploma with distinction. He has pursued advanced studies with masters such as Stefano Grondona, Guido Margaria, Betho Davezac, Dusan Bogdanovic and Dagoberto Linhares at the Lausanne Conservatory, where he was awarded the “Diploma of Virtuosity” with Congratulations of the Jury and a prize for interpretation.
In 2005, he completed his training with the Diploma of Soloist for to which it has been attributed the first prize of the "Max Jost Competition" (for the best soloist of the year, among all instruments).
Since his first appearances at the Palazzo Ottolenghi, Asti, in 1995, he has given solo performances in many concert halls all over Europe. He teaches his instrument at the “Conservatoire de Musique de Genève” in Switzerland.
