Dance for life
Abhinava Dance Company will present a bharathanatyam performance called Ananda Narthana — celebrating life through dance — by Mridula Rao and C Somashekar, disciples of Nirupama-Rajendra and Suparna Venkatesh respectively. The event will be on April 12, 6:45 pm at ADA Rangamandira, J C Road. Guests of honour include N R Gopinath, President, Kinkini Cultural Organisation and R V Raghavendra, Managing Trustee, Ananya.

Dance camp
Studio 5678 is conducting an intensive 10-day dance workshop for children, teenagers and adults. The workshop is for beginners where basic to intermediate level of each dance form will be covered. Dance styles for teenagers and adults will include salsa, jive, hip-hop and free style while children will be introduced to Bollywood style of dance along with freestyle.
