Rainfall occurred at isolated places over the State.
Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Subramanya (Dakshina Kannada dt) 4, Navalgund (Dharwad dt) 2, Tyagarthi (Shimoga dt) 1.
Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places over south interior Karnataka; and above normal at a few places over coastal Karnataka and above normal at a few places over north interior Karnataka.
Bellary recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.7°C over the State.
Forecast valid until the morning of Friday: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Gulbarga, Bidar, Bijapur, Koppal, Gadag, Dharwad and all the districts of south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over remaining districts of the State.
Outlook for subsequent two days: No significant change is expected over the State. |
