Currently, the big question is whether the Chamundeshwari by-election was ‘free and fair’ or not. We asked our readers for their opinions on the matter.Some of them said that the by-election was a democratic success, with minimal usage of unfair means by political parties and effective steps taken by the Election Commissioner. However, others felt that the bypoll was as bad as any other, if not worse.
