Cultural fair
Samskrithika Vaibhava, a cultural fair was organised for the primary section of MES Kishora Kendra, Malleshwaram recently. Various competitions like colouring, poster making, collage and skit were held for participants from various schools. The chief guest, Vasumathy Krishnaswamy, former headmistress of the school, emphasised on the need for our culture to be inculcated in today’s children.
Prof Sheshadri Iyengar, Secretary, Mysore Education Society was the chief guest for the valedictory function. He gave away the mementos and certificates and congratulated the Principal R K Prahlada Rao, primary school headmistress Jayanthi M M and the staff members.
School day
BNM School celebrated their School Day recently. The event began with a prayer and lighting of the lamp. The school report was read by the Principal Dr Colette E Joseph, who also highlighted the achievements of the students in various fields.
The chief guests for the evening were B S Prabhakara, Headmaster, Maruthi High School and K Ranga, Principal, BNM Institutions of Technology. A new musical ballet was presented as the cultural feature of the day – ‘Cinderella’, which had more than a hundred children participating.
