Getting rid of maths phobia
Aspire learning company, the Chennai based Aspire group company has launched its Speed Math programme in Bangalore for students in classes 6-12, according to a press release of the company.

Would you be able to believe that your child will be able to calculate (9999)2 in less than 10 seconds…? Vedic mathematics has incredibly easy sutras and techniques, which can be practiced and put to good use by school students. The Speed Math Programme at Aspire Superkidz is a judicious mix of techniques from Vedic Maths, Trachtenberg’s Speed math and Bill Handley’s methods. This programme helps in building speed and accuracy in mathematical calculations. Most parents and teachers complain that students lose marks because they make careless mistakes. The speed math programme helps a student to mentally calculate and arrive at the right answer in no time.

The Programme helps students preparing for competitive exams such as the IIT, AIEEE etc to calculate accurately and faster since negative marking is a matter of great concern for them.

The programme focuses on shortcut methods to calculate faster. This programme will cover basic operations in math such as speed addition, subtraction, speed multiplication and speed division in the 1st module. The 2nd module will cover squares, squareroots, cubes, cuberoots etc.

Applications for this programme can be collected from Aspire learning centre at Bangalore. Last date for application is October 10, 2005.
