India Medicare - an international exhibition on medical devices, equipment, hospital industry supplies and health care products is being held at Sri Kanteerava Stadium till October 10. The exhibition is timely because the Indian healthcare market is being perceived as the fastest growing market in the world. Within the next couple of years, the market is expected to be worth in excess of US $40 billion.
India Medicare is meant for ministers from the health department, policy makers, medical equipment and pharmaceutical buyers from hospitals and clinics, senior doctors and health professionals and the key players in the private healthcare industry. More than 500 professionals from the international healthcare and top domestic companies including laboratory, dental, diagnostics, eyecare, orthocare, pharma and other related companies are taking part in this fare.
The exhibition also provides an opportunity to discuss modalities of exporting to India, assistance from global organisations like the WHO, World Bank, incentives from USAID and Government of India.
