BIAL seeks suggestions from passengers

Bangalore, September 30, DHNS:

In a bid to accommodate the needs and expectations of the air passengers, the Bangalore International Airport Limited has invited suggestions to be incorporated in the proposed expansion of the terminal-1.

‘Smile Bengaluru’ campaign launched by BIAL carries a tag line, 'Your airport is expanding. Tell us how you'd like it to be.' The exercise is aimed at encouraging the citizens, passengers, employees and the large travel community to give ideas on what new facilities they would like to have in the expanded terminal.

The campaign is claimed to be first of its kind initiative taken up by any airport authority in India.

Do you want lounge recliners or a bowling alley or an extensive food court? Just log on to www.smilebengaluru.com and post your ideas and requirements. These comments will be evaluated by the BIAL stake holders and feedback will be posted on the ideas selected.

BIAL is strongly promoting the campaign through various social media platforms, City hoardings, radio and airport space to reach out to larger audience.

Describing the campaign, Sanjay Reddy, Managing Director, BIAL, said, "the launch of this campaign is testimony to our inclusive approach of involving the local community with the airport project. These ideas and suggestions will be considered to shape the future of Bangalore's expanding airport."
