RDT hold Sports Hostel
Akram Pasha scored a 57th minute equaliser to help RDT, HA hold Sports Hostel 3-3 in the State ‘C’ Division hockey tournament here at the KSHA stadium on Saturday.
Akram opened the scoring for RDT in the 18th minute but Sports Hostel, Kudige’s Abhishek levelled score in the 34th minute. Subbaiah put Sports Hostel ahead in the 38th minute but Anil equalised for RDT four minutes later. Avinash gave Sports Hostel a 3-2 lead in the 48th minute but Akram scored a crucial goal to tie the game.
Results: Kodava Samaj: 4 (Somanna 16th, Pramod Bijwad 32nd, 56th, Ganapathy 39th) bt Anglo Indian Guild: 1 (Travis 22nd); RDT, HA: 3 (Akram Pasha 18th, 57th, Anil S 42nd) drew Sports Hostel, Kudige: 3 (Abhishek 34th, Subbaiah 38th, Avinash 48th).
