Tight Competition

Bangaloreans enjoyed an evening of some great music at the finals of the Voice of Bangalore Season 4 held at Garuda Mall.

Earlier, this year, the competition had seen a huge turnout at the auditions conducted at Jain University, National College, Jyoti Nivas College, Vijaya College, RV College, PESIT, Infosys, Tesco etc.

And after seven intermediary rounds, it was finally time for the best singers in Bangalore to perform in front of professionals and prove their mettle. The venue was jam-packed with the supporters of the singers and others who had come to enjoy the evening. More than that, there was vibrant energy all around.

And though the rains outside did create some impediments, people were more than ready to have a great time. In the finals, the singers showcased their talents in front of playback singers Udit Narayan, Guru Kiran and Rajesh Krishnan, who were judges for the evening.

The crowd went crazy as the stars graced the stage and wished luck to the participants. The show started with singer Apoorva crooning the Kannada song O My Love which was well received by the audience.

After this came Yamini S, who sang Krishna Mi Jeevan. Though the judges were supportive towards the new talent, they also made sure that they offered the right criticism to the budding stars.

The show was highly enjoyable as the young singers sang some of the most melodious songs from Kannada films. And while the six participants fought hard for the coveted crown, finally it was Deepak D L and Yamini S who were declared the winners of Voice of Bangalore Season 4.

The winners were visibly overjoyed as they came on to the stage to collect their prizes. The evening became even more exciting when Udit Narayan enthralled the crowd with both Kannada and Hindi songs.

The crowd screamed as he belted out numbers Bari Holu Bari Holu, Kunidhu Kunidhu Baare, Papa Kehte Hai and Chand Chupa Badal Mein. Rajesh Krishnan also performed a few Kannada songs for his fans bringing the show to an end.
