<p>H S Doreswamy has filed a Public Interest Litigation seeking a Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) inquiry into mining activities in Bellary.<br /><br />The petitioner argued that the State Government had failed to take action even a year after it received the Lokayukta report. <br /><br />The petitioner’s counsel stated that some of the people implicated in the Lokayukta report were Cabinet Ministers and had dodged warrants against them in several cases.<br /><br />The Karnataka High Court observed that the petitioner has not named any respondents in the petition and directed the petitioner to file an amended application with the respondents’ names.</p>
