BMTC to issue bus pass from today
The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) will begin to issue concessional bus passes to degree college students from July 3.
A release from BMTC issued here, on Thursday, states that the pass will be issued at all 30 counters across bus stations or depots in City, from 8 am to 5 pm on all working days (Monday to Saturday).
Free application forms are issued at all pass counters. Students should submit, two stamp size photos, current year fee receipts and college ID card along with fully filled and duly attested application forms, that is a pre-condition for obtaining student concession pass. However, special bus passes like ‘Travel as You Like’ student concession pass and five month pass will be issued at Kempegowda Bus Station, Shivajinagar Bus Terminus and Shanthinagar Bus Station only, while evening college passes are issued at Kempegowda Bus Station alone.
