<p>"We will launch the new Jetta and new Passat in the Indian market in 2011," Volkswagen Group's Head of Marketing and PR (Passenger Cars) Lutz Kothe told reporters here.<br />"We have no plan to localise the Jetta or Passat, but we will continue to assemble them in India," he adding, "India is the fastest-growing market in the luxury car segment and we will continue to grow here."<br /><br />He, however, did not reveal the price of the new Jetta and Passat.<br />Kothe said there was a waiting period of two-to-three months for its Polo and Vento due overwhelming market response for the two models.<br /><br />"We are gradually ramping-up production at our Chakan facility in Maharashtra to cater to the increasing demand," he said, adding "the Polo (white colour) has been more in demand in the market."<br /><br />He, however, did not specify by how much the production has been scaled-up.<br />The company sold 4,613 units of Polo and Vento in November this year. It sold over 26,000 units across models from January-November this year.<br /><br />Earlier, the company had said it will be achieving the full annual production capacity of 1.1-lakh units at its Chakan plant by end-2011. The company has invested up to Rs 3,800-crore in India so far.</p>
