Woman burnt alive for dowry

Shushma, who was married a year back, was burnt by her husband Pankaj and her in-laws yesterday. She was later rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead.

A complaint was filed yesterday by the victim's mother Ram Dayee alleging that her son-in-law Pankaj and his family members had been demanding dowry.
The body of the victim has been sent for postmortem, police said.
