Attend people's problems on priority, DC tells officials

Complaints of drinking water crisis, fake doctors pour in

As many as 42 persons participated in the programme which spanned for two hours. The officials noted down all the problems mentioned by the people.

The residents of Pacchappa layout urged the district administration to ease drinking water crisis as the authorities concerned have not released water since last two days.

Mahadevaiah, member of Yadapura Gram Panchayat made a similar complaint. Responding to this, Deputy Commissioner K Amaranarayan took to task the officials of City Municipal Council and Zilla Panchayat for not addressing this problem.

The villagers of Kunthur and Yalandur town urged the DC to take steps for clearing encroachment in the village.

Mahesh of Gundlupet complained regarding irregularities in the distribution of ration card and also about delay in distributing the cards.

Deputy Director, Department of  Food and Civil Supplies S E Mahadevappa promised to solve the problem soon.

Suresh of Chamarajanagar wanted the DC to put an end to the menace of quacks in the city. Raju, a resident of the city urged the district administration to improve the city on the lines of other cities by taking up beautification works.

The DC promised to attend the complaints at the earliest.
