Action sought
This had hit poor and middle class people. The government, instead of hiking the price, should have taken action against those dairies which were swindling people’s money. How the government did announced hike in the price without seeing the proposal submitted by the Karnataka Milk Federation.
There were several ways to help the milk producers without hiking the price of milk.
They alleged that the government was silent despite a series of irregularities coming to light in milk societies.
