He said under MGNREGS, the funds can be utilised for road, watershed projects, social forestry, horticulture among others. If there was any problem in the utilisation of funds, then it should be brought to the notice of the elected representatives and officials.
Zilla Panchayat member Raja Rao said the government has been releasing funds for the implementation of MGNREGS. However, the quality should be maintained while undertaking the work. The officials should provide details on the work undertaken in each and every Gram Panchayat. ZP member Usha Devamma, TP member Umesh also spoke.
