<p> Just a day after the UPA government bought peace with the opposition and agreed to set up a Joint Parliamentary Committee to probe the 2G scam and thus sought to ensure smooth conduct of the Budget Session of the Parliament, the Lok Sabha witnessed uproar over Telangana and had to be adjourned thrice. The Congress MPs from Telangana too threatened to commit suicide in the Parliament’s premises, if the Government does not move forward for the creation of the new State.<br /><br />The Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and the party MP Vijayashanti came to the well of the House, pressing a motion for adjournment of the Question Hour for a debate on the contentious issue of carving out the new State from Andhra Pradesh. The Leader of Opposition, Sushma Swaraj demanded the Prime Minister make a statement committing that the government would introduce a Bill in the Parliament during the Budget Session itself.<br /><br />Law Minister M Veerappa Moily later told journalists that pro-Telangana MPs must understand that a resolution for bifurcation of AP should be passed in the State Assembly itself, before it could be taken up by the Parliament. As the ruckus continued, the House had to be adjourned twice more. <br /></p>
