The eyes of legendary vocalist Gangubai Hangal, who passed away on Tuesday, would be used to give vision to two patients, family sources said.
The 97-year-old exponent of Hindustani classical music, who passed away at a hospital this morning, donated her eyes to the M M Joshi Eye Hospital.
Following her demise, hospital staff completed the procedure relating to the eye donation, they said.
