Koochie Play Systems eyes USD 20 million revenues by 2015

The firm plans to enter North and South America, South Africa and Eastern Europe in the next fiscal, while it will also foray into eastern India besides strengthening its presence in the north.

"We expect our revenues to grow to USD 5 million by next fiscal and touch USD 20 million by 2015," Koochie Play Systems CMD Roben Dass told PTI.

For the financial year 2010-11 the company expects to touch USD 1 million revenues. At the moment the company has its presence in 6 countries.

"Even after 5 years, when we plan to touch USD 20 million in revenues, we expect 60 per cent to come from exports," Dass said.

To meets its target, he said the firm will expand in new geographies both in global and domestic market.

"We are looking to expand in both international as well as domestic market. Besides, international destinations we are also looking to strengthen our position in India," he said.

The company, at the moment caters to various international customers through its offices in France, Australia, UAE, Morocco, Lebanon and India.

The Bangalore-headquartered firm is a designer and manufacturer of play area equipments and provides total solutions in outdoor playground solutions.

The company sources its play systems from Korea and Taiwan. In India, it has a R&D and design centre in Chennai.
