‘Acharya Habba’

The ‘Acharya Habba’, an annual festival of Acharya Institutes, will be held from April 7 to 9 at Nagarathnamma Stadium of Acharya Institutes, Soladevanahalli.

More than 40, 000 students from nearly 300 colleges will participate in the fest. The events like ‘Duet Dance’, ‘Rock Show’, ‘Rendezvous’, ‘Web Designing’, ‘On-the-Spot Programming’, ‘Slow Bike Race’, and ‘Mr and Ms Habba’ will be under five different
categories namely, cultural, theater, technical, literary, fine arts and
miscellaneous. The ‘International Habba’ is scheduled on April 8 in which
international students studying in different colleges of Bangalore will take part. Singer Benny Dayal will perform live on April 9.


‘Revamp’

Reva Institute of Technology and Management would be hold its
annual festival ‘Revamp’ from April 7 to April 9.

The festival would be a combination of cultural, educative as well as sports related activities.

The first day will have various events like photography, group song, ‘rangoli’ and group dance but will also see the students involved in technical events such as paper presentation, project demo and C programming.

The second day will have the street play and debates in Hindi, English and
Kannada. ‘Treasure Hunt’ will also keep the students busy and the day would come to an end with a fashion show. The last day will have a street dance show and performances by bands ‘Swarathma’ and ‘Parvaaz’.
