Radia implicates Pawar in 2G scam
Sharad Pawar's alleged links with the now notorious DB Realty group have surfaced again.
Controversial Corporate lobbyist Niira Radia has reportedly told CBI that the Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar lobbied to get a 2G licence for DB Realty and may be controlling the controversial company as well.
While Pawar has denied any link with former DB managing director Shahid Balwa, who is now in CBI custody, Radia said, according to media reports, “On being asked how I came to know that Sharad Pawar had called Raja to get the approvals done...I state that as per the general perceptions in Mumbai as well as outside, DB Realities (sic) is directly or indirectly controlled by Sharad Pawar and his family members.”
But Pawar can be expected to brazen out the new allegation as Radia also added that she had no "documentary proof or some other evidence" to back up her claim.
