Peru's consul for State

The newly appointed Consul, Vikram Viswanath said: "Forest officials from here will be sent to Peru, which has a very large and rich forest cover, where they will be able to learn to police the forest ranges better. Talks have also been held with tourism department officials, to increase the tourism traffic between both countries," he said.

Peruvian Ambassador to India, Javier Paulinich said the appointment of the Consul would strengthen the relations between the two countries.
