Many vehicles were stranded in waterlogged roads. <br /><br />A wall collapsed at Rajajinagar. No untoward incident was reported.<br /><br />Travelling by autorickshaws in the evening turned out to be a nightmare for commuters with drivers demanding exorbitant fares.<br /><br />However, the worst is not yet over. According to Meteorological Department Director Puttanna, the rain is expected to continue for two more days. <br /><br />Puttanna attributed the downpour to the low pressure at mean sea level with rain sweeping from Madhya Maharashtra to the Lakshadweep area across interior Karnataka.<br /> (North and South); an upper air trough from Telangana to Lakshadweep across interior Karnataka extending up to 3.6 km above the sea level; and an upper air cyclonic circulation over south interior Karnataka and adjoining Karnataka, which now extends up to 5.8 km above the sea level.<br /><br /><br /></p>
