Students should become entrepreneurs: Nair
Students require a lot of leadership skills if they are to succeed in the coming decades, said former ISRO chairman G Madavan Nair.
Speaking at the second convocation of ISBR Business School on Saturday, Nair said students needed to be apprised of various challenges the country was facing and the opportunities that they had before them.
Lot of potential
Pointing out that innovations and timely solutions are taking the Indian industries to leadership position, he said India with more than one third of its population below 25 years of age had tremendous potential to overcome any hurdle. “My advice to them (students) is they must become good entrepreneurs and leaders,” he said.
ISBR Director Dr K S Anandram highlighted the achievements of the college which included getting approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
As many as 300 students were awarded PGPM certificates. Gold medals were awarded to meritorious students for their achievements in the field of management, leadership, and self transformation.
