MSRIT honours its top students
Seventeen students, including two from Visvesvaraya Technological University who secured the first rank, were felicitated by M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology and its alumni association in the City on Friday.
The students of architecture, biotechnology and various other streams were conferred the best outgoing student award and cash prize of Rs 3,000.
M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology is entering into an agreement with Cognizant Technology Solutions in a collaboration to create industry specific courses for students.
Sthanu Subramonia Iyer, director of the Cognizant Technology Solutions, said the company had sponsored three best performer awards in Computer Engineering, MBA and MCA. As many as 190 students were recruited by Cognizant.
