Future Group opens food hall chain
New Delhi, May 22, PTI:
India’s leading retailer Future Group, known for its value format stores, is getting into premium foods category with new brand of chain — ‘Food Hall’ targetting affluent customers.
It has identified 10 locations across metros to set up these stores after opening the first one in South Mumbai. ‘Food Hall’ will be at the top-end of a range of stores that includes KB Fair Price shops, Food Bazaar and Food Right in the foods category of the group.
Food Hall will sell premium fresh and packaged foods of both domestic and international brands, ready-to-eat items, cuisines from across the continents, besides health foods. It will be competing with Nature’s Basket by Godrej Group.
