Doreswamy braves sun
Freedom fighter H S Doreswamy sat amongst the audience in the blazing sun for more than three hours sending away people who tried to offer him water and umbrella.
Showing no signs of fatigue, Doreswamy said he was very happy with the crowd that had come to see and hear Anna Hazare.
“It shows how ready people are to tell the corrupt mend their ways. All these people who celebrate one, two and three years in power should be asked whether they have any shame at all,” Doreswamy remarked.
He had recommended that NGOs also be included in the Bill. Lately, the government told the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) that NGOs have not provided any accounts for many of the welfare schemes being implemented through them, he said.
