When Shriya came visiting the homes of contest winners in the City, she had ten body guards all dressed in black protecting her. Though her entire day was jam-packed — visiting three houses at different ends of the City — Shriya didn’t mind at all. “I work for my fans, and it’s really exciting to see and meet them personally. This way I know what they like about me and what they want to know about me. I see this as an opportunity of a lifetime,” says the actress.
One of the winners, Jai Ganesh, was so excited that when it finally came to talking to the actress, he couldn’t believe it was her. “I have watched all her films and I still can’t believe she is here,” he adds.
Though both the parties were equally excited on the interaction, sadly, it was her starry presence that over shadowed the actual visit. Nevertheless, they finally did get a chance to exchange a couple of words, if not a cup of tea.
