Music composer Ismail Darbar wants to join BJP, praises Modi

Noted music composer Ismail Darbar, who hails from Gujarat, has said that he wants to join BJP and is waiting for a nod from Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

In an interview to a private channel today, Darbar said, "I have met BJP chief Nitin Gadkari in Nagpur and discussed my plans with him..and now I am waiting for an affirmative answer from Modi."

"Being born in Surat, I have special regard for the city and the state of Gujarat where a lot of development has taken place after Modi took over... that is why I am inclined to join BJP, for doing something for the city and the state," said the composer, who shot to fame with the film 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'
