After discussing with my teachers, I decided to choose Bangalore Medical College as it has more facilities and skilled doctors. Since it’s a government college, I don’t think there will be any kind of harassment. My classes will commence from mid July. Hence, I am a bit anxious. My college has implemented stringent rules to ensure the safety of freshers. I am quite confident that there won’t be any ragging incidents in my college. As of now, I have thought of opting for Kasturba Medical College to pursue medical course. Though I am not worried about ragging, I am bit conscious and hope there won’t be any kind of teasing on campus. I collected some information about the institution and learnt that there haven’t been any bad incidents over there. I was a little nervous but also curious and excited about my first day in college. I am interested in medicine and will join a well-equipped medical college in the City. More than being nervous, I am eagerly looking forward to mingling with a new bunch of friends. I am not scared of ragging as anti-ragging laws are strictly followed in all institutions. Sometimes, hostellers fall pray to the pranks of seniors. But that’s not the case with day scholars like us.” </p>
