Judgment reserved

The High Court has reserved the judgment on the appeal filed by R N Sohan Kumar, son-in-law of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa against the special court taking cognisance of offences in a private complaint against Yeddyurappa and others on land denotification.
Kumar had sought setting aside the lower court order terming the complaint ‘arbitrary and illegal’.
The petition stated that the court has not recorded reasons for taking cognisance of the offence.
The XXIII City Civil and Sessions Court had dismissed the applications of Sohan Kumar on February 26 and took cognisance of offences against Yeddyurappa and others.
