BSF jawans killed in naxal ambush
RAIPUR, June 26, PTI:
Two BSF jawans were killed and three others injured in a naxalite ambush in the Kanker district of Chhattisgarh on Sunday, a top police official said. He added that a naxalite was also gunned down in the incident.
Kanker Superintendent Of Police Rahul Bhagat said a joint patrolling team of theBSF and the district police from Koylibeda was ambushed near Sulangi village by around 150 naxals in which two BSF jawans — a head constable and a constable —were killed while three others were severly injured.
