Free clinic inaugurated at B'lore station

Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa today inaugurated a free clinic at the city Railway station to commemorate World Doctor's Day.
The clinic was aimed at providing health servies to passengers, a release said here.
On an average 2.5 to three lakh people, including passengers and attenders, pass through the station every day.
The clinic will provide basic emergency facilities and a telemedicine network through which ECGs can be recorded, transmitted and reported within a matter of minutes. Basic lab investigations and first aid support would also be provided at the clinic.
