Bopaiah to visit Govt PU College on July 5
Public Instructions Department Deputy Director N A Ramaswamy has asked the elected representatives, government officers and the local residents to take part in the ‘Shalegagi Navu Neevu’ programme which is scheduled to be held at Fort Hall on July 5.
Briefing about the programme in a meeting, he said the programme intends to protect the child rights, enhance the quality of education in government schools and strengthen the relationship between the parents, students and teachers.
All the officers, elected reps and the leaders should visit either the school in which they have pursued education or in any of the nearby schools of their choice. They should visit and inspect the school between 9.30 am to 12 pm, he informed.He has asked them to inspect various activities of the school including the singing the prayer, national anthem, reading the news paper, attendance level, check the text books, uniforms, bicycles, toilets, preparation of mid-day meal, cleanliness in the school campus, toilets, availability of space in the classrooms, the level of participation of SDMCs among others.
Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah will visit the Government Pre-university College on July 5, informed Ramaswamy.
ZP President Ravi Kushalappa who was present in the meeting informed that he would visit Makkandur Government School. DC K M Chandre Gowda asked all the district level officers to visit the nearby schools on the stipulated days. He asked the officers to provide him with the details of their visit, after attending the programme.
