Mukul Roy pockets rail power
New Delhi, July 5, DHNS:
Congressmen K H Muniyappa and Bharat Singh Solanki, both ministers of state in railways, are now deprived of more powers than earlier.
Mukul Roy, the Trinamool Congress minister of state, has all the departments with him which were held by Mamata Banerjee when she was the minister for railways. In addition, he has some additional things to do.
Roy has all the decision making powers but with the rider that his decisions are to be endorsed by the Prime Minister, who is looking after the portfolio.
