Besides offering a sound theoretical understanding of TV and radio programming, the course aims at imparting extensive practical training to the students.<br /><br />The course is backed by excellent facilities for video shooting, editing and post production work. The studio facilities set up at a cost of over one crore rupees ensures that students are fully equipped to take up assignments independently. The centre is equipped with modern facilities like, an excellent recording studio, teleprompter, high definition professional TV cameras, audio mixer, interactive digital board, video editing and post-production facilities.<br /><br />The ETMC is collaborating with leading professionals functioning in the TV and radio programme production units and various channels to ensure that students become highly professional. <br /><br />The media industry, specially the electronic media, is flourishing in India. The trained manpower requirement is very high. There are around 500 TV channels which require qualified and trained youngsters. Radio is booming and they need talent. Web-based production personnel are in high demand. Qualified and talented writers for multimedia production are the most sought after people these days.<br /><br />The North Karnataka region is known for its rich traditions in the fields of literature, music and theatre. This course would offer excellent opportunities for students of this region.
