'Development and security primary focus of Indo-US ties'
As India seeks to become a global leader on climate change, development and security are primary focus of Indo-US relationship, a senior US official has said.
"They are primary issues in our bilateral relationship, as India seeks to become greener and seeks to become a global leader on climate change, to ensure that we're working together to provide as much mutual as we can, and I expect that in coming week’s we’ll have more to say about those issues," State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland told reporters at her daily news conference.
Counter-terrorism is another important aspect of dialogue between the two countries, she said.
"We do have a rich counter-terrorism dialogue with India, and it seeks to address both our work at home and our work together globally," Nuland said in response to a question.
