But as a hero, this is my first venture,” says Nitin, who says he has been gifted with acting abilities. <br /><br />“Being the son of an actor, I have inherited the skill of acting. My father Mariswamy, who was named as Roopesh in Kannada industry, had acted in a number of movies. I am professional dancer too and have trained under Appu Venkatesh for stunts,” he informs when asked about his background. <br /><br />Along with Nitin, Hosa Prema Purana stars Pooja Gandhi, Radhika Gandhi and Shraddha Das (of Arya 2 fame). The movie deals with a live-in relationship. Nitin plays the role of a techie who is in a relationship with Shraddha Das and shares a flat with her. <br /><br />Nitin feels that the concept is very new to the Kannada industry. “I can’t say it is a different film, but definitely something new for the Kannada audience. Youngsters will be able to relate themselves to the characters in the movie as live-in relationship is an emerging trend in the City. Though personally I don’t believe in it, I feel the movie will be entertaining,” he reasons.<br /><br />Directed by Shivakumar, 60 per cent of the movie has been shot in Diamond District Apartment on Old Airport Road in the City. Slated for release in September, the film has five songs. “We shot three songs in Bangkok which was an amazing experience. <br /><br />For the first time, we used 20 imported bikes, five helicopters and Thai dancers for a song sequence which has come out really well,” he informs. The budding actor is all praises for Ravichandran.<br /><br />“Since childhood, he has been my favourite actor. He is a bundle of energy and has brightened up the industry with his talent. He is an actor, director, producer, music director, lyricist and what not. He is the one who brought a new dimension to the Kannada industry. He is my inspiration,” he is all praises. <br /><br />The actor wishes to play the character of a tough cop on the lines of Singham or <br />Kempegowda. Though offers are pouring in, Nitin wants to sign other projects only after the release of Hosa Prema Purana.<br /></p>
