Baden Powell, Sadvidya victorious
Baden Powell Public School scored an emphatic ten wicket victory over Marimallappa High school here on Tuesday.
Baden Powell won the toss and decided to field. They restricted Marimallapa to 68 runs, with an impressive spell by Ismail who took four wickets for just eight runs. Baden Powell reached the target in just 5.5 overs without loss. Rahul scored 55 runs which powered Baden Powell’s ten wicket win.
In another match Sadvidya High school registered a 138 run victory over St Josephs central school Yelwal. St Joseph’s won the toss and elected to bowl.
Sadvidya high school was able to score a decent 196 in the 30 over spell.
St Joseph’s were unable to handle the onslaught by Sadvidya bowlers with Rajesh and Saurab taking three wicket for four and two runs respectively.
St Josephs were bowled out for 58.
